Flat Stanley 3/31/17

Today’s date is March 31st, 2017 and Flat Stanley and I are at Oakland International Airport.

You would not believe all of the fun we’re having! Left me tells you a little about our adventures today! First, I woke up at 5:30 am to go to the airport. When I went through the security checkpoint, I was stopped to have my luggage checked to make sure that everything I brought with me was safe. The person who was checking my luggage recognized me from morning yard duty. She said she had two daughters that went to Stonebrae. One was in Ms. Xu’s class and one is in Ms. Qu’s class!

It was very random to run into someone from Stonebrae School first thing in the morning. I hope to see her at school when we are back from our trip and meet her daughters. I wish I had asked her what her name was before I walked away.

After we got through the airport, we had a lot of waiting to do before we got on the airplane to Los Angeles. After that, we will get on a plane to Amsterdam, Netherlands, and then finally a plane to Barcelona, Spain.

Stanley was very impatient to get on the plane. I told him that there’s a lot of flying for us in the future. Stanley says he can’t wait to eat some paella, which is a famous dish in Spain that consists of seasoned rice and other yummy things!
