Dear Room 4 Families,
This week was all about learning and practicing our routines. We have been reviewing first grade skills while establishing routines and learning how to follow classroom rules/procedures while cooperating with our classmates for partner work. Your second graders have been busy working on their writing, reviewing and learning new vocabulary in Chinese, practicing their calendar routine, and listening to stories in Mandarin. We will be continuing with reinforcing the routines and behavior necessary for our learning in 2nd grade this year during the first 15 days of school.
If you have not received an e-mail invitation to sign up for ClassDojo to view your child’s daily behavior report, please e-mail me and I will send you the code that you need to link up with my classroom account.
There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 1st. School will resume on Tuesday, September 2nd.
