Weekly Newsletter for 12/12/14

Dear Room 4 Families,

Your child has had a very rainy week at school. We have been busy learning strategies for mental math to help us with regrouping when we add and subtract larger numbers. Your child has also been comparing and contrasting many different things, including different versions of “Stone Soup” which will end in a celebration the last hour of school on the Friday of next week.

I am currently working out dates and specifics for classroom visits and field trips with Room 7. If you are interested in chaperoning a field trip, please let our room parent Maude know now, so that you have the time to get all of the paperwork submitted before the cutoff date.
