Chinese Culture – Reality Show X-Change

In this show, two boys swap families while cameras document their experiences. One boy comes from a poor family in a rural area and one comes from an affluent family in a big city. Over the course of six or seven episodes per swap, viewers learn about the background of both families – their jobs, income, work history, reasons for entering the program, and other interesting tidbits.

This show gives a good glimpse into the lives of Chinese children and reflects the diversity of the country.
