Dear Room 4 Families,
Our field trip is coming up in less than 2 weeks. Please make sure that you have signed the field trip permission slip and have made arrangements for bringing your car seats to school on the day of the field trip if you cannot bring them to school yourselves.
Our Room 4 students have been learning about the plant cycle this week in conjunction with the story we have been studying this week in English Language Arts, The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle. To go along with this theme, we have been studying the art style of Eric Carle and are in the process of making our own flower diagrams in his art style. We have also been working on finishing our final drafts of our narrative stories by publishing them into books.
English Language Arts
Working on: closed syllables, pronouns, plural, drawing conclusions, using diagrams and labels, and publishing our writing.
