Weekly Newsletter for 4/4/14

Dear Room 4 Families,

Room 4 students had a fun and busy week learning! We have been busy writing, painting, singing, and playing while we learn this week. Thank you to Debbie Jelincic for appearing as a guest to motivate students to move for Fire Up Your Feet!  Room 4 will be participating to encourage our students to be active and have healthy habits. According to the website, “Kids need 60 minutes of physical activity a day to keep their heart and lungs healthy and early, positive experiences getting active leads to healthy futures.”

Schools with the most family and school staff participation have the chance to receive a portion of more than $70,000 in awards offered nationally. We will be logging our physical activity minutes at school and finding more ways to be active. You can participate in the challenge at home by signing up here: http://www.fireupyourfeet.org
