Weekly Newsletter for 5/8/15

Dear Room 4 Families,

Thank you for all of the gifts, flowers, and classroom supplies this week. They were much appreciated! Today your child was excited to learn from the BayMobile from the Aquarium of the Bay. They came to discuss our impact on the earth affects our land and our oceans. Your child participated in a science experiment and had the opportunity to meet and greet with several sea creatures.

This week in school we started our informational writing unit and are currently studying text features in non-fiction books. We will be wrapping up our unit on subtracting 3 digit numbers and will be moving on to measurement, data, and analysis.

Next Friday is our class field trip to CuriOdyssey. Please make sure that your child is at school on time and has had a chance to eat breakfast and go to the bathroom. Your child will also need to bring a lunch with them.
