Weekly Newsletter for 5/20/16

Dear Room 4 Families,

Your child had so much fun on our field trip this Tuesday! Thank you for supporting our class in being able to research, learn, and enjoy our time at CuriOdyssey.

As a reminder, the famous American project is due on Monday and will be on display for Open House on Tuesday. We will be presenting the project throughout the week, so please prepare your child by helping them memorize what they are going to say and having them practice if they haven’t presented yet.

Open house is on Tuesday, May 24 2016. This is an opportunity to come visit our classroom and see some of the work we have been doing this year and to see the third grade classes. Here is the schedule:

• 5-6 Science Fair
• 6-7 Open House

This week in school we have been working on character’s point of view in English Language Arts, non-fiction writing, and money. We will be wrapping up our units, working on end of the year activities, and taking assessments for the last few weeks of school.
