Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year!

Dear Room 4 Families,

Welcome back to school! I’m looking forward to a fun and educational year with your child this year. I hope that everyone had a great summer. The first few weeks of school will have a big emphasis on learning rules, classroom procedures, establishing a respectful learning community, and adjust to our schedule

Please check your child’s backpack and Friday Folder regularly. We will notify you of any big changes or important dates through ClassDojo, a classroom organization app that includes a daily behavior report and quick communication to your teachers. Please make sure that you sign up so that you are kept in the loop. All of our communication is posted in the ClassDojo app or on this website. Your child should have their class code included on their first day of school packet in their Friday Folders.

Please make sure all forms are completed and returned to school. Some of the forms will seem repetitive, but they are going to different areas of the school (classroom, office, teacher, etc.) and it is important that this information is returned.

Thank you for the families who have brought supplies to school already. The list was sent home in your child’s Friday Folder today. Our classroom Amazon wishlist is located HERE and will be updated throughout the year as supplies are needed. Donations of new and gently used items for our classroom treasure chest are greatly appreciated throughout the year.
