Weekly Newsletter for 2/19/16

Dear Room 4 Families,

I apologize for the late newsletter! I was sick this weekend and unable to get all of the homework links up. Everything should be in working order now!

Last week your child has been working on reviewing math concepts for their benchmark math test this week. We have also been going over time and money. We will revisit money throughout the year, especially once we are learning to regroup in addition and subtraction. Your child is wrapping up their unit for opinion writing and going through the drafting, revising, peer editing, and final draft process independently.

Here are the homework links for Week 19. Mr. Chen and I will be enforcing completion of the Lingt and Quizlet portions of the homework packet more strictly. If your child needs to stay after school to complete their online homework, please let me know and we can arrange a date. Another alternative is to borrow a neighbor or family member’s computer once a week, or to use the computers at the library.
